Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every inspection Tasleem carries out. They are printed on the last page of every quotation and every report, so what you agree to is always the text below.
- Effective date
- 1 January 2025
- Service provider
- Tasleem Property Inspection & Handover
- Client
- The property owner, or the representative authorised to request the service
1 Services
Tasleem provides professional property inspection services in the following packages:
- Handover inspection (one visit): one professional inspection visit, covering the accessible areas, with the defects documented in photographs and location references, and a final inspection report.
- Full package (two visits): the first visit is the handover inspection; the second verifies the defects reported earlier, with a final report stating the status of each.
Inspection services are provided for the specified unit or units only.
2 Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed only once the client has approved the quotation, the required payment has been made, and Tasleem has confirmed receipt of it.
Tasleem reserves the right to postpone or cancel unconfirmed requests.
3 Payment terms
The client pays for the chosen service, according to the agreed package, before the scheduled inspection date.
Available services:
- Handover inspection (one visit)
- Full package (two visits)
Any additional services requested after the booking is confirmed may carry additional fees.
4 Cancellation and refunds
A cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled inspection. This policy applies to handover-inspection and full-package bookings alike.
- Cancellation more than 48 hours ahead: the client is entitled to a refund under the applicable payment terms.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours ahead: 50% of the amount is refunded.
- On any refund, the payment-processing fee (the bank or payment-gateway commission) is deducted from the refunded amount.
For the full package, the 48 hours are counted from the date of the first inspection visit.
5 Client responsibilities
The client provides access to the property at the agreed time, ensures the keys, access cards or required approvals are available, and coordinates with the developer, facility management or other relevant parties where needed.
6 Inspection date and rescheduling
Inspection dates are set according to engineer availability and the requirements of the project.
Any request to change the inspection date must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Tasleem will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests.
7 Limits of the inspection
The inspection is a professional visual assessment of the areas accessible at the time of the inspection.
Tasleem is not responsible for hidden defects that cannot be found by ordinary inspection methods, defects in inaccessible areas, defects that appear after the inspection, or problems arising from alterations or misuse after handover.
8 Inspection reports
The client receives a professional report with a description of each defect, photographic evidence, location references where applicable, and inspection notes.
The report reflects the condition of the property on the date of the inspection only.
9 Verification inspection after remediation
The second visit verifies the defects reported earlier and updates their final status according to the visible condition at the time of re-inspection.
Tasleem does not guarantee that the developer or contractor will repair every defect.
10 Data and privacy
Tasleem keeps the client's information, data and files confidential and uses them to deliver the service, prepare the reports and assure quality. Client information is not shared with third parties without authorisation, unless required by law.
11 Acceptance of the terms
By approving the quotation and making payment, the client confirms having read, understood and fully agreed to these terms and conditions.
12 Limitation of liability
Tasleem's responsibility is limited to providing professional inspection services and reports. Tasleem is not responsible for delays in works, the actions of the developer or contractor, the quality of repairs carried out by other parties, or financial losses arising from the client's decisions about the property.
